"THINK OUTSIDE THE CUBE"

Cross:

The first step in solving the cube using Fridrich method is making a cross on the bottom. It could be very intuitive because there are no such algorithms in solving a cross. The goal of this step is to form a cross on the bottom layer by correctly placing the four edge pieces around a center piece (blue in my case). This step differs from the others in several ways. First, it is solved almost entirely intuitively. Second, since you are given 15 seconds of inspection before a solve, it is in your best interest to try and plan your moves for this step during this time. You must solve the cross under 8 moves. First, you need to locate the four edges then think of the fewest moves you must do for them  to be able to reach the cross slots. A lot of tutorial is not required in making a cross because just like what I have said, it's very intuitive and you must figure it out by your own. But for beginner's, I'll provide some samples for them to be able to use it as a guide.
